I bought one for my cousin too!

I just wanted to tell you all that you were my life saver with my 2nd child. He wouldn’t sleep anywhere but the swing and was getting way too heavy for that. At 4 months old we switched him to the Amby hammock and 2 days later he slept through the night. We would’ve bought it way sooner if we would’ve come across it sooner. He now sleeps in his crib but will only sleep in the hammock for his naps. Thank you all so much for putting out such a great product. I think your product is so great I bought one for my cousin and she has had more sleep with her newborn now.

He napped for an hour!

Hi! Just wanted to tell you how excited I was to receive our hammock yesterday! Mateo is just a little under 3 months, and although he’s always been a pretty good night sleeper, he just refuses to sleep during the day. The poor little guy is dead tired, but he just wouldn’t go down. I am happy to report that immediately after we put the hammock together yesterday… he napped for an hour! Today, I was even able to shower with him just bouncing himself in the hammock. THANK YOU!

Your bed was a lifesaver

I wrote you many months ag with a 1 1/2 month old who had reflux and I told you how wonderful your product is. Now my son is 10 months old and he slept in his crib for the first time ever last night. I was so worried that I would have to struggle to wean him from his Amby…he loved it so much. But I started giving him his little bear to sleep with in his Amby and then put him in his crib with that bear hoping and praying that he could make the leap from his wonderful, cozy, safe Amby to his bed. It was bittersweet fo us because everynight we’d hear him bounce, bounce, bounce himself to sleep in his Amby. Now it’s like an era passed. He is nearly walking and he was ready to move on but now on our second night of not hearing his ryhthmic, content bouncing I can’t help but miss the days that he was just a small content baby sleeping peacefully in his Amby. I am so thankful for your bed and we have gotten more sleep than any parents deserves in the past 8 1/2 months and that’s really a testament to your bed design.
I just want to thank you again. Your bed is a lifesaver and we really have appreciated it.

Hurricane victim comforted by Amby Bed

I ordered my Amby when I found out I was pregnant with my first child December 20 2004. I have a different testimonial than those offered on your website. I live in Ocean Springs, Mississippi - three quarters of a mile from the beach. My son was born July 22 2005 and we evacuated for hurricane Katrina August 28 2005. He was a month old! I took the Amby for the hotel stay and it was amazing! He has slept through the night, every night, since. He stayed in the Amby in several different hotel rooms and never once complained. I attribute his lack-of fussiness to the Amby bed. I love it! He no longer sleeps in it because he has gotten used to his crib now, but guess what?!?!?! I am pregnant AGAIN! I found out December 27 2005. So, this coming hurricane season when we evacuate the Amby is definately coming with us again! Evacuation is kind of like mini-vacations for those of us living on the Gulf Coast… the only difference is: we never know if we will have a home to come back to. It was nice to have the Amby there, something to comfort my son during that terrible time we were watching CNN and not knowing any information about our neighbors health.

I wish wish wish I knew about the Amby when our first son was born. He was inconsolable for the first three months of his life, and he never slept more than three hours in a row until he was 10 months old. I was an aweful miserable wreck. When I found out I was pregnant again. I did my research. I am a big fan of Dr. Sears, and when I read that he endorsed the Amby, I went for it. It was ready to go, before our second son was born. I have to admit I was skeptical, but it has proven to be as advertised. My son is 3 months old now. He sleeps from 9PM to 6:30AM everyday. He even was diagnosed with GERD, and we didn’t have any clue because he slept so well at night and was easier to console during the day because he was well rested. Wow. Amazing. Thanks again.

The Amby Baby has made me a hit with my daughter and grandson

Wow, what a buy. I hope you’ll put this on your website as a testimony. I had bought two Arm’s Reach Mini-cosleeper’s, one for my house and one for my daughter. When my grandson arrived, he seemed to be a restless little fellow, sqirming and wiggling so much that I doubted he was getting much rest. So I decided to spring for the Amby Baby for him. It arrived in record time, I think four or five days since I ordered it. My grandson’s father put it up. And the rest is sleep history. In a matter of seconds my daughter tells me he was “knocked” out. Sleeping as sound as she’s seen him since the day of his birth, November 22nd. She says he looked absolutely peaceful and at home in his Amby Baby, of course, we’re calling it the Jody Baby. I am so pleased. Now all I have to do is sell these two co-sleepers so that we can have our very own Jody Baby at our house. I’m anxiously awaiting photos. Wouldn’t you know her camera would go on the blink just when I was waiting to see Jody lying in the bed. Not to worry, they’ll be spending the night with us tomorrow night and we’ll get to experience him sleeping in his new Jody Baby in our house. I can’t wait. I will send photos soon. We also plan to take him to North Carolina to my mother’s for the Xmas holidays and will be taking the Jody Baby with us.

Just before the bed arrived, I started feeling a little anxious about buying this bed for him, but now, I am sold. My daughter’s actual words to me when she called after putting him in the new bed, “Mom, this is the best present ever.” I am now the “heroine,” thanks to Amby Baby. Because she tells me this morning this was the first night’s rest she’s gotten since he was born. YIPEE!!!!

I know you probably hear this all of the time but I have no idea what we would have done without the Amby Baby bed. Our daughter now 5 months old had acid reflux from the beginning. She never slept and I mean never. At night she would grunt and make noises but never fell asleep soundly and never for more than 25-30 minutes at a time. She was miserable and we were becoming miserable. Our doctor said to elevate her bed but she always slid to the bottom of the crib. Once we learned about the Amby Baby from the internet it changed everything. The first night she only slept 4 hours in it but that was huge change. The next night was 8 and ever since then she sleeps 12 straight hours at night. No other parents can believe it. I only wish we would have had it before she was 7 weeks old.
I am definitely putting our next baby in this right away regardless of them having acid reflux or not.

Jeremy bounces himself back to sleep!

Hi!
I bought your baby hammock 1 week before my 2nd child - Jerremy, was born.
At first I wasnt sure, but after the frist night of him being in it, I realised I made the best choice I ever made for my baby, my first one - Jessicca, was in my original cot, always waking, always colicky, I really needed SLEEP! if only I knew about it when I had her! she is 3 now, and my son is now 3 and half months, he loves his hammock! He does this little thing in it all by himself, he uses his feet to hold his bottom in the air then bangs it down to make the hammock bounce and he gets himself back to sleep that way! he also enjoys watching the tedy bear hanging on the inside bob up and down! I am surpised that baby stores dont sell your Amby Baby hammock! its silly, this should be available to everyone! its the BEST!

I found out about Amby Baby while surfing the Internet one day. Expecting my first child, I had an inherent aversion to cribs but had NO idea there would be any alternative — other than co-sleeping, which I was reluctant to do.
We have used the Amby Baby hammock since the first day our baby girl came home. All I can say is (and I’m sure you hear it a lot!) is THANK YOU! Our baby, not yet two weeks old, is already sleeping six or seven hours through the night. Her pediatrician was astounded, as are we. It’s so nice to see a well-rested baby greet the world every morning — I swear, she is the happiest baby on the planet.

Most envied parents

Dear Amby People,
Thanks for making us the most envied parents on the block! My husband and I recently went to our Lamaze class’s 2-month reunion, and you should have seen the wide-eyed expressions when we told our classmates that our daughter slept through the night as soon as our pediatrician gave us the go-ahead to let her sleep to her heart’s content. We’d started her out in a co-sleeper, but she’d rouse very easily when we’d try to gingerly place her in it after she’d fallen alseep, making an already difficult few weeks post-birth even more sleepless! We had tried her in her Amby within her first week or so of life, but it just seemed too big. Also, I think we had it at too severe an incline. Once we adjusted it, though, and worked out a nice system for placing her in it between the support cushions and with a nice, snug swaddle, she slept like sleeping had been invented just for her! Unlike in her cosleeper, where she would fuss, obviously uncomfortable, and would spit up frequently, the little kiddo slept peacefully in the Amby from the start and has never ONCE spit up! Also, she had lots of gas and other intestinal discomfort and would cry fitfully while awake during her first few weeks, but once she started sleeping in the Amby, she seemed to become free of the digestive problems. I told everyone at our reunion about Amby and I’ve spread the gospel to my other pregnant and new mom friends. You have a wonderful product, and we use it every day for naps as well as bedtime. We’re going to take it on vacation with us so she has a consistent, comfy place of her own, even amidst changing schedules and timezones.
